If you know how to write an ebook you will be able to sell it to many more people than if you are not clear. Ebooks are different from traditional books in many ways. Your readers are looking for something very different than from a book they would check out of the library or pick up at a book store. Here are some things to consider when writing.
· Your readers will have been searching for specific information on your topic when they find you online. They have a problem and are hoping that your book is the solution to that problem.
· Many of your readers will speak English as a second language. It is important that you do not use acronyms or language that is not universally understood unless you intend to explain it in detail in your writing.
· Keep your sentences short. This is not the place for long, flowery prose. Your readers want to get the information they are looking for quickly and easily.
· Organize your ebook well. Include an introduction that tells them exactly what your book is going to discuss. Your table of contents should organize your chapters in a sequential and logical fashion. It should be simple for your reader to move from chapter to chapter to find the information they have paid for.
· Include as many resources as you possibly can. This would include links to relevant websites, affiliate links, and a reading list so that your reader can learn even more of the topic.
Write your ebook in this manner and you will have fewer return and satisfied readers who will purchase from you again in the future.
